CHANIA.- Completing 10 years (2008-2018) of cultural presence, the Contemporary Art Museum of Chania - Olivepress presents a series of visual art exhibitions in its annual program of productions for 2018 with an anniversary character and a spirit of extroversion.

The aim is to present the contemporary art of the 21st century through the Greek and international collections of the Museum, as well as the presentation of the work of young artists in combination with the well-established work of contemporary art teachers, both within and outside Greece. With the collaboration of institutions and cultural bodies of culture, an intercultural dialogue is attempted through contemporary art.

Within the framework of the cultural actions series “2008-2018: 10 Years of the Contemporary Art Museum of Chania - Olivepress” and under the auspices of the Consulates of Greece and Cyprus in Saint Petersburg, a visual art exhibition entitled “DIE KUNST IST EIN AUSWEG BEI SEXUELLEN PROBLEMEN” (translation: Η τέχνη είναι μία διέξοδος στα σεξουαλικά προβλήματα, Искусство - это выход из сексуальных проблем) will materialise at Freud’s Dream Museum (18A Storona, Bolsoi Prospect of Petrogradskaya, Saint Petersburg). The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday, 25 August 2018, at 5 pm, and will last until 5 October 2018.

The visual curating of the exhibition is by Ioannis N. Arhontakis, Dr Efi Kyprianidou and Dr Megakles Rogakos.
